I’ve spent most of my life curious about perception and ways of understanding.  It has been my aspiration to become a woman of knowledge. A five-minute demonstration led me within a month to study with Emilie Conrad, the founder of Continuum in 1994. I met Susan Harper in 1996, and she has been my primary mentor. I continued to study with Emilie as well and was authorized by her and Susan as a Continuum Movement teacher in 2000.  In addition, I am a founding member to the Continuum Teacher’s Association. I have explored and taught in Florida and Virginia.  I live and  teach in the Charlottesville.  I’m interested in being part of the expansion of Continuum into world community.

My learning and teaching are informed by a curiosity about spiritual realms, how the sensing body is a vehicle for awareness, and a love of science. I’ve been a pediatric physical therapist since 1987, and that work has given me a deep knowledge of the body.  Craniosacral therapy has been part of my practice since 1983.  I have facilitated sweat lodges for women, taught yoga, and emotional literacy theory.  25 years study with the dream worker Len Whorley, and the practice of dream embodiment using Continuum and dreamscapes with Susan Harper, have created a deep appreciation in me for the power of dreams for transformation. I have come to an understanding of the power of plant medicine to awaken and foster healing through 16 years study with a Peruvian Shaman.
