Bobbie
Ellis
For 32 years Bobbie has been deeply committed to exploring the territory of inquiry using the wisdom of the body. In addition to being a Continuum Teacher and one of the founding members of the Continuum Teachers Association, she directs Soma Center, Resources for Embodied Living, celebrating 20 years in Highland Park, NJ. As a yoga and movement guide, writer, and embodied meditation teacher, Bobbie offers classes, workshops and one on one sessions in her studio and loves to travel teach in the tri-state area and more. She is also a ceremonial officiant performing weddings, eulogies and baby blessings.
For Bobbie, the most important depth in teaching and writing has come from the unfolding discoveries in her own felt and fluid practices in the quiet of her own body. It is there that she has learned to trust and share, teach and explore. In her need for clarity in the passages of her own life, she has created workshops and training programs that offer a deep way of cultivating resources for living an embodied life.
With her husband and pianist, John Bianculli, she has a CD in embodied meditation and has self-published 2 poetry books.
